My recent redesign of AUS120.com™ has turned a few heads and is currently being showcased in a small competition run by WooThemes.com. Each week two websites built on the same theme run head-to-head in a voting competition to see which has the best looking design. how did you go about making the slider on this site? is it a plugin?
Hey Sean–I know you’ve been doing some work for Woothemes. Is there any possibility of you putting up a tutorial of how you modified the slider for your AUS120 site, like you did with the flash header on ridethewinds.com? At least as far as how to enlarge the slider so that the image takes up the entire thing–I’ve checked the posts at Woothemes, and they all direct me to a wooworker. Nothing against them, but I can’t afford (time or money) to hire someone else, and I really have no problems with editing code. ANY hints/tutorials/kernels of wisdom thrown my way is muchly appreciated!

That’s a really cool idea actually! I’ll do it. But you’ll have to give me a week or so, super busy travelling at the moment so I can’t get on to it immediately.
What I did with the slider was actually pretty simple, but you just need to know the steps in order.
Roll with it!
