Hi! It reminded me a joke i’ve heard some days ago. As the moral is simply the same! =) A dude in his forties bought a completely new Audi and was out on the interstate for a good night ride. The top was down, a breeze was swaying through what was left of his curly hair and man chose to open her up. Since the hook hopped up to 80 mph, he eventually noticed blinking red and blue lights behind him. “There is no way they may capture this auto!,” he thought to himself and opened it up more. The needle hit ninety, 100…. Then the fact of the problem hit him. “What the heck am I doing?” he said and pulled over. The policeman came up to him, took his license without a word and reviewed it as well as the car. “It’s happen to be a long day, this is the end of my personal shift and it is Friday the 13th. I don’t feel like a lot more paperwork, therefore if you possibly can give me a good excuse for your driving that I never have heard before, you’ll be able to go.” The dude thinks for a moment and claims, “Last week my spouse leaped away with a cop. I was scared you were trying to deliver her back.” “Have a good weekend,” says the officer.

You’re right, a lot of these sites are built in flash (which is usually slow) or hosted on slow servers. I’ve never been a fan of full-flash sites for that exact reason.

A few of the sites have been re-done since I made this post a while back, so the sites could be different now.

Keen to see Sunny’s site! I’m a big surfing fan. I really like the Wyland Cellars site you did. Came across it somewhere on the web this week actually (design gallery or something?). Very cool.

I started going through the list, soon stopped ! Most of the sites load very slow. It was a frustrating experience. White Ink Studio, Orange County, California will be developing athlete websites very soon. They will be developed under a new name: Accelerated Brands – My job is to contact athletes / agents and show them the importance of web presence. Looks like Tiger Woods has updated his website “FINALLY” !!

Cool use of Flash on Vernon Davis’ site. Not a big fan of autoplaying music however…
