A redesign of the extremely popular celebrity blog. BCK needed a fresh look to go with their blog whilst having minimal downtime for their large audience. As well as completely customising a new site, I was also involved in a lot of database and hosting upgrades, modifications to deal with the massive amounts of traffic the site is receiving to minimise downtime.
Website Specifics:
- Wordpress (CMS)
- Arthemia theme (by ColorLabsProject) completely customised from the original
- Custom logo and graphics on all pages
- Customised ‘flash’ accordion on the frontpage
- Integrated video-player and advertising on the sidebar
- Integrated advertising at header and throughout content
- Customised ‘random gallery’ footer
- Management of a large amount of content (stories, media, video, tagging)
